Milan Cortina 2026 Olympic Village
The Olympic Village is the first piece of a greater urban regeneration project involving the former Porta Romana railway yard. There will stand the major facilities of the Winter Olympic Games 2026. Afterwards the facilities will be transformed and returned to citizens as student halls with 1,700 beds.
According to the masterplan developed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, the Olympic Village will be located southwest of the railways yard, granting uninterrupted balace with the neighborhood.

During the tender stage our team was selected for tender assistance and value engineering by the bidding companies CEV and Grassi & Crespi.
We put in a lot of work seeking optimal technical and financial solutions in order to allow our bidding companies to be eventually awarded the tender.

The impressive work carried out by our Tender Team to provide alternative construction designs, materials and value engineering on the project at base bid price allowed a 25-million-euro cost saving.
Our contribution to further standardizing the components was decisive, both to save time and meet deadlines, and to streamline procurement processes.
We are proud that we could be instrumental in this important initiative. For us it is an additional token of our group’s founding values: dedication and competence.
