In a revamping project that requires stripping out a building, our contribution with BIM modelling turned out to be crucial.

The property is located in the Porta Volta area, at short distance from Milan Porta Nuova CBD, and it belongs to a wider Integrated Renovation Plan aimed at developing and overhauling the former ENEL Area standing between Via Ceresio, Via Bramante and Via Procaccini.

The renovated property consists of 7 floors above ground used as office space, a large rooftop terrace on the seventh floor with 360-degree view on the city, and a basement.

After the building was stripped out, we carried out a laser scanner survey so we could develop initial models from absolutely precise parameters. Subsequently we developed the construction model, which reached LOD 350 and contained all carpentry and additional works required by stakeholders.
